About The Event

The DEFSEC brand is a well-established one that represents opportunity within and beyond its location and focus. With 30 years of event development by a team of experienced professionals, DEFSEC West will provide a regional event that will draw participation both nationally and internationally to showcase the extensive talent, experience and innovation in Western Canada’s defence industry community.

DEFSEC West will attract:
  • Canadian and International Prime contractors who are in pursuit of or are executing large contracts with a need for Canadian content via a large supply chain.
  • Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) who seek to learn about participation in the Canadian defence industry, seeking partnership and sales opportunities.
  • International participants who look to the Canadian market for new connections via our open door policy. They can attend without an association membership as a prerequisite.
  • Government facilitators from all levels who help their clients to learn about, qualify for, and succeed in the dynamic Canadian defence procurement atmosphere.

DEFSEC West will be an event that:
